Welcome! The Camden County Board of Freeholders has assembled a strong team whose objectives are to help local businesses flourish and attract new enterprises to our County.

The consortium of Camden County agencies that comprise our economic development team allows us to respond to a business or developer whose multiple needs may cross agency boundaries. Our extensive infrastructure, diverse labor pool, strategic location and “make it happen” attitude make Camden County the perfect place to locate your business.

Camden County Improvement Authority(CCIA) is the main economic development agency of Camden County. It offers customized financing, planning, site selection, and relocation assistance. The CCIA is also home to our Office of Smart Growth & Brownfield Redevelopment Center (BARC), which works to create exciting locations for opportunity.

The Camden County Workforce Investment Board, in collaboration with the Board of Freeholders, is responsible for providing employer and community-based leadership for Camden County’s workforce system. Services include the One-Stop Career Center, Employer Services, Job Training and the Resource Center. Its mission is to provide quality programs which continue to expand resources for county businesses.

The Camden County Office of Community Development provides programs to create and preserve affordable housing to the residents of Camden County. It offers home improvement programs, homebuyer assistance programs and emergency shelter assistance.
